I'm Valex
After several years of gaming experience and passion for architecture and urbanism, I have some ideas about what I would like to see in city-building games. I've always wanted to have more control and customization over the buildings I build in the game. Automatic or even manual placement of immutable assets doesn't give much scope for creating urban fabric.
In addition, traditional city-building games are mostly based on now obsolete urban principles, such as zoning and economic differentiation of lots. I would like to abandon this in favor of a multifunctional block development.
And that motivated me to start the journey to Unity to create a constructor that allows to change the number of storeys and the exterior of buildings and arrange them into structures to create development based on the balance of order and freedom.
And here in this blog I will post my progress.
